Not by trading Schenn

Dude, we all love what Schenn brought to the table last season but he is NOT the guy we want playing with Quinn for another 82 games. He has some trade value, so go grab some value and add De Haan for free. He can do what Schenn did (minus some hitting) but at a faster pace.

Obviously you don’t want Schenn do be the guy with Hughes, but De Haan sure isn’t solving anything either. I’d rather keep Schenn

Dumba is very much available according to our beat writer. Based on the fact a trade hasn't been made, my guess is nobody is willing to offer what Guerin is looking for and Dumba is good enough to keep on the team if there aren't any takers (so Guerin won't lower his asking price). That's all speculation (aside from Dumba being available), of course.
