Gawanke is no longer waivers exempt, he will not pass so you’ll have to keep that in mind.

100% agree, maybe I should have edited for that. I personally want Gawanke up with the Jets even as an extra but don't think the Jets will do it. I ended up choosing Kovacevic over Gawanke but even those 2 could be reversed. If the Jets don't move out an NHL LHD, they will lose a good young player for sure unfortunately.

They could end up losing a few guys. Gawanke and Kova aren’t waivers exempt, Heinola likely asks for a trade if he’s not with tbe jets and Samberg is arguably already better than 1/2 of the jets blue line.

Chevy has some real work to do on the backend. There’s no way he can just sit tight with the log jam he’s created.

I really like Gawanke and think he could be a really solid player. I think the same about Chisholm, samberg and Heinola. But jets have a pretty full blue line so I’m not sure what’s going on.

I honestly have zero guesses as to how it's gonna play out. I hate losing these young guys before giving them a real shot but it seems to be heading that way with waivers.
