This trade is bad for for LA on so many different levels it's ridiculous.

LA loses this trade brutally, the best player in this trade is Fiala, the best prospect is Byfield, and you want 3 1st rounders and take on Muzzin’s cap dump. I wouldn’t pay this for half retained Matthews.

You should also note, even after the Kings do this trade, get worse, and lose three 1sts, they don’t even have the cap space to get this done. This is bad, like bad for a Toronto fan bad.

Is it a terrible trade.......yes. Is LA getting fleeced for picks.........yes. That being said, the talent going back to LA is better than the talent coming back.
I think a lot of people will probably disagree with me, but I don't think Byfield is going to be half as good as people think he is.
