We could keep Valimaki and Mackey before the season starts and I’m not going to be the least bit shocked if we do.

I think we will sign a league minimum forward on a 2 way deal. I used Turris as an example.

I have two trades to upgrade our forwards, both would happen before the deadline. After those trades we have a team that can beat any

One second is to move Monahan. Coronato and a 2nd is good payment for Eberle at 50% for 2 years. Lind also is a cheap bottom six we can use the following season. Coronato doesn’t impress me that much. In fact Pelletier and Wolf are the only prospects we have that I wouldn’t move

Why not just include Monahan in acquiring Scheifele? (Personally I would rather go after Dubois) Not like they need the cap space for anyone and they can flip him at the deadline at 50% for more assets. Also the resigning of Zadorov kind of made the idea of going after Stanley redundant

I just figure that a PPG #1 centre on a team-friendly deal would return at least one higher end piece.
