Description

The value seems fair to me. Looch doesn't have much value, so does Foligno. I added a 3rd and Studnicka for the salary retention on Lucic. Obviously Lucic would have to agree to this trade since he has a NMC. It would be a great move for both teams I think, Calgary utilizing their cap space to acquire a young player and a pick and on the other side, Boston getting even bigger and getting under the cap. Also we could maybe see a Krejci-Lucic reunion at the begining of the season with Hall maybe promoted to 1st line in the absence of Marchand.

You don't trade for Lucic lol. It's not worth it for either team. Calgary is in a win-now mode right now this trade doesn't make them better or worse. Boston has a terrible prospect pool other than Lysell and a Murky future after this year. They shouldn't be trading picks unless they want to add years to the Inevitable rebuild.

Half their big contracts will start on LTIR, they will be cap compliant. when players start coming back you cross that bridge when you get there
