I don’t think he’s a complete liability. He back checks pretty hard when he needs to but yeah he avoid blocking shots and going into corners and tends to play above the circles but that’s also his game. The Colorado defense is strong enough to overcome that.

I would maybe agree adding Kane would be cool but like how much more offense does a team need? With Rantanen, Landeskog, MacKinnon, and Makar on PP1 where would Kane fit?

Lastly, if Kane requests a trade and wants out and this is the package I’d take it.

Not sure I'd do it if I were the Avs GM. Kane would be great to have but the cupboard is getting pretty bare picks/prospects wise and that can't go on forever. I'd still prefer them to use any assets that they have to use on finding an answer at 2C.
