I like it! My concerns aren’t with your projections, I believe these are a solid picture of what opening night could in fact look like. Simply put, I hate the fact that 4 mil in cap space is scratched on a nightly basis. I wish there was a realistic way to be more productive with that money instead of having it sit up in the press box. Any ideas on that? Other than that (which has nothing to do with your ACGM specifically, but you seem to have solid knowledge of what’s going on in the league), I like this look very much more than 365 days ago. Nice work!

with the additional signings they made, I fully expect Veleno and Edvinsson to start the season in GR unless they kick the door in during camp and for Veleno, that means cracking the top 9. Not a lot of value in playing him 10 or less minutes a night on the 4th line.

That's quite possible seeing that Joe Veleno is waiver exempt for one more season, I'd have no qualms having him in GR. I'm not so sure about Simon Edvinsson all he has to beat out is Jordan Oesterle and if he can't do that then he has no business playing in the NHL period. Heck Jonatan Berggren as far as i'm concerned is better than Filip Zadina don't be shocked if he makes it as well.

Berggren is the same as Veleno - he'd need to kick the door in and earn a top 9 role, or he's better off playing huge minutes on the 1st line and PP in GR.

I still think Edvinsson is going to make the team too, just not a given. As for Veleno and Berggren, I fully expect both to start in GR unless there are some major trades.

I think at least 1 forward will be moved by opening night and there's a real chance that forward ends up being Zadina, even though I don't want to give up on him yet.
