Atlantic: I think the bruins have 1 more year until ottawa and the wings overtake them. If one of them do end up making it in over Boston it will be due to a Calder worthy campaign from Sanderson/Edvinsson.

Metro: I think the Canes and Pens are the top 2 teams here. I see the rangers taking a slight step back with losing strome and copp and replacing them with 1 player in trochek and I see Shesterkin coming down to earth a little bit. He could still end up being the best goalie in the league but I don’t see him being quite as dominant as last year. This could be counter acted by lafreniere and kaako taking big steps (which I think is much more likely with the former). The wildcard is the isles and if they made some really good moves they could make it in over Washington but I really like washingtons off season so for now it’s them.

Central: I really like the top 5 teams in here and could very well see any combination of them making the playoffs but St. Louis is the odd team out here as I think they got worse over the off season and the other teams just excite me more. I could be 100% wrong tho and there will be good teams missing the playoffs whatever way you slice it or dice it this year.

Pacific: very confident in the top 4 teams but they could go in literally any order. Seattle and Vancouver also stay close and play competitive hockey to the end.
