Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Laff, Chytil, and Kakko all shown flashes in the playoffs. Laff scored 19 goals with little PP time (I believe he hasn't scored a PP goal in his NHL career). Unfortunately I don't think Laff, Chytil, or Kakko will get to play on the Top unit unless there are injuries. Kakko has shown signs of brilliance but he's been dealing with injuries and bad luck. Chytil didn't have a good regular season, but he turned it on in the playoffs. Trochek is an upgrade over Strome for 2C and will slot into Strome's spot on the Top PP unit. Igor is going to be once again doing heavy lifting. Honestly Halak may be a downgrade from Georgiev. Halak's poor play in certain games played a factor in the Canucks missing the playoffs. If Igor gets hurt then a Halak/Louie Domingue tandem would be exposed.

That’d be a huge let down if Chytil couldn’t break 40 points this year. Given they’re expanded roles, they need Laf and Kakko to each provide 50 plus. Will it happen I’ve got no clue, but they need to step it up. I hope Trocheck lives up to his contract and can consistently produce at least 55-60 points playing next to him (I know he’s been slowing down).

40 points on the 3rd line with barely any PP time? Thats the same ~12 minutes a game kind of deployment he got last season so why should we expect more?
