Anaheim already has 8 D on their roster...I doubt they take on Muzzin, if he would even waive to go there.

Kuraly's already doing the Team Ambassador thing as a hometown kid and is the fourth line anchor here; he's unlikely to be moved. Peeke isn't someone we can afford to give up because of our RD situation still being unsettled. Abruzzese is a forward and we have too many forwards. So this is a pretty easy "no" for the Jackets.

I think a lot of people under estimate holl’s value, he had one bad year, he’s still a soild defencemen that could turn around on a different team. He’s worth at least a 4th or a 5th

My thought on Kuraly was to clear a little bit more cap space - didn't realize he was a hometown kid/team ambassador. I understand that Peeke is an important part of the CBJ blueline but the team isn't competitive enough right now - may be worth moving him for a bigger return if this isn't it. Would be happy to overpay for him

How many of those 8D are NHL defensemen? Not to mention they pretty much have no top 4 LHD

Honestly if you wanted Peeke CBJ would probs ask for a 1 or 2 year stop gap RD (Like Holl) plus a prospect and/or 1st/2nd round pick, depending on the prospect.

I just didn't think they could take $2M in cap on, I'm sure theres another bottom 6er that makes a bit too much that could come back?

After sending some players down we'll have a little over 2 million free. Currently have 28 players on the roster. We can fit Holl we'd just be at the cap ceiling.

Would actually still have 1.3 mil left since Holl's 2 mil would be replacing Peeke's 787K. I think I'd rather keep Peeke for one more year though and see if he gets better this year with a more experienced base to start off with.
