My guess is Foegele gets moved allows Oilers to carry 22 men and not lose Barrie

Even if you could move Foegele and in the current market that will be really tough(Pens are in the same boat with McGinn), that's not enough to keep Barrie...still about 1.5 short.

If Edmonton moves Foegele they can keep everyone and sign McLeod to a 1.5 mill deal and carry 22 I checked and tested it on an acgm

Also Foegele really ain't difficult to move Anaheim, Arizona, Ottawa all could take him

As for penguins doubt they have any desire to move McGuinn Sullivan loves the guy and he's been a solid tanev replacement

Team above is 22 players with McLeod signed for 1.5 and has 260K space, Foegele's hit if moved is 2.75 for a total of 3. Barrie's hit is 4.5 so I don't see how that works. Where are you getting that extra 1.5 from? Either you're talking a 20 man roster or it was before Yamamoto signed.

And as for the Pens, McGinn is a decent player but we are stuck over the cap ourselves and 2.75 for a 4th liner is just a luxury we can not afford, especially when we just added Poehling and Archibald for the 4th line, not to mention having DOC and Zohorna ready. Someone has to go and it's either McGinn or Zucker who would be even harder to move.
