That change was made after I made my comment. I like that. Then we have a solid backup for Hellebuyck for the rest of his time in Winnipeg. I don't think Driedger is a .899 but I also don't think he is a .930, he is a quality backup... plus he is from WPG.

If you actually go into the Oilers cap to build a team, you will see with Foegele traded, they can easily run a 22 man roster at the cost left to sign McLeod and a few spare parts. That's probably the workable plan.

I wouldn't trade AJ for a negative value, the Devils can handle him. Plus he only makes $750k, rest is bonus that has been paid, so it's not really bad.

He's not awful, not bad enough to have to add to dump him. The Devils more so want to get guys like Holtz and Zetterlund in the lineup if they can and AJ doesn't make sense on a 4th line.
