Just not seeing the incentive here for Arizona.
Bailey has very little value to them. He's essentially moved for cap purposes, but he's really nothing more than a piece they can possibly swap at next seasons TDL.
Dufour is a decent prospect, and had a very nice season. But he was also in his D+2 season and has a significant amount of size. Good prospect but not top tier until he plays against men.
Salo is 23 and has barely managed to get some NHL games. He's only a year younger than Chychrun. Again, decent prospect but not top tier.
The 2nd rounder is fine, but having to wait until 2024 for the 1st is also and issue. Arizona is going to want picks sooner than later, and with a deep 2023 draft that pick probably has more value to them.
This seems like a lot of stuff the Islanders don't mind getting rid of along with a first for a young established top 4 Dman on a bargain contract. Value doesn't seem to fit.
