Might be a bit of a gamble to swap out Bourgault for Dach... but Dach fits the Oilers timeline a bit better as he already has 150 actual NHL games under his belt. Regardless of how high Oilers fans are on Bourgault he is still 100% unproven at the NHL level & the Oilers need to be in "win now" mode, not in 2 yrs. McLeod-Dach-Pujli would be a big bodied fast skating "kid line"... All that being said, yes I know its unlikely the Habs move Dach after just trading for him at the draft.
Keep Pujli for the season to see how he does fully healthy. If he doesnt improve but still wants top 6 minutes and again wants more money move on from him, swing Dach to RW, McL to C, and Holloway up on LW. 23/24 season 3rd line would be Holl-McL-Dach.
ZAR & Gudas provide some grit for the 4th line and backend.
Gags does the same job(maybe even better) as Ryan, is cheaper, & younger.
I burried Shore & Ryan in the minors, i think Woodcroft trusts Malone more than Shore, & with Gagner in the mix Ryan is redundant... maybe someone grabs him off waivers.
Samorukov up over Niemo because he is no longer waivers exempt, maybe they move him out in a trade at some point in the season.
Grabbed Sprong for some more Right shot depth, hes still young & has a bit of a scoring touch.
Holloway obviously first on the list for a call up from the A depending on injuries... Some will say he is ready for full time minutes in the show, but some more time playing big minutes in the A wont hurt.
