Guessed on most of the availabilities but the way to go for a new team is sticking up draft picks in exchange for player protection, Vegas did extremely well for themselves when they joined. This is all for fun

The expansion draft took place before Foligno signed in Boston, so that does not work.

Vegas did so well because teams made terrible trades to protect mid roster talent and dump bad contracts. GMs learned from their mistakes and that was not available to Seattle. They had to take a different approach and did pretty well. They could be a playoff team this year in a weak division.
