You know I have actually been making popcorn this entire time?

Also if anyone has any good drink suggestions I’m all ears. I’m moving out of my apartment on Sunday and I have to use whatever I have left in my fridge.

The only issue is that I only have one cup so I have to wash it out in between drinks.

This is a ridiculous amount of delusional comments in one place. I’m amazed at what I started

I don’t have wine. Mainly just vodka and lemonade. The debate is whether or not to drink it straight. Then again I didn’t even open the bottle until I got to page ten.

The other issue is I only have one cup in my apartment. The rest of them were shipped yesterday. So I have to wash it each time I make a new drink. It’s why I’ve really only stuck with water or iced tea.

Islanders fans tend to get a bit territorial around their star forwards' hometown teams talking about "bringing him home", it was this whole thing a few years ago, not worth going over again.

Personally, I don't hate the value in this deal but I don't like the idea of trading out a legitimate 1C without getting something that fills a need in return. Garland is good but he's not a top line guy - he's a solid 2nd line play driver with a commensurate cap hit at this point. Podkolzin and Lekkerimaki look like very strong prospects (Podkolzin looked good this year) but again: two more wingers. There's no one on the Islanders ready to step up and take over Barzal's 1C spot in 23-24 unless Raty takes a huge leap, so this is basically adding a ton of middle-6 wingers (a couple with top 6 potential) and turning the Islanders into a team with no top line, three 2nd lines, and presumably Matt Martin, Casey Cizikas, and Cal Clutterbuck on the 4th line until the heat death of the universe. Not exactly the roster I'd want to have after moving out my bonafide 1C.

I think all your values are fair to more than fair. With that said I think you could organize them better to get the results you are seeking. For example, if you really wanted Brazel you could just trade EP straight up for him. Then use the other assets to acquire your CBJ package, and probably save multiple pieces.

I mean its not really a hot take. Barzal can't control another forwards S%. He had a 98 PDO last season, anything under 100 is considered unlucky. He drives offense and sets up his teammates at an elite level, if he had a top line caliber player on his line that would lead to more production

I would expect more offense from Barzal in a majority of other NHL environments as well. I just don't know if I'd bet on him being able to reach 95-100 points
