Looking more at Kupari and Grans potential. Iafallo is for the salary to work. Though he is a good player. He, Mikheyev and Pearson competing for top 6 minutes.

Kings can't afford to extend Miller, and they're not going to give up Iafallo for a rental.

Wouldn't expect the Iafallo bar to be that high, even if Miller can't be re-signed. He's a good all around player though.

Iafallo is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. I don't think the Kings would consider trading him at all, but certainly not for a rental.

He's absolutely not a cap casualty as some fans around here make it seem.

I think they would sooner not make a move like this than move Iafallo to try to shoehorn in another high cap player. If the Kings are going to acquire another top six forward, then one of their existing high cap top six needs to be headed out. One of Arvidsson or Kempe would seem like the obvious choices to make room for a guy like Miller.
