Islanders arent moving Mayfield but someone like Severson (half retained) or getting Klingberg to take a 1 year, prove it deal under 3 or 4 mil makes sense.

Pass on Klingberg, if they move Barrie they need to find a RHD that plays a physical, defence first game. If the Islanders are trash this yr I do wonder if they move Mayfield at the deadline.

Mayfield would be at TDL if he is moved but i cant imagine the Oilers wait until then

If the Habs are totally planning to tank this season why arent they moving out some of their older guys to open up some roster spots to get some of their top prospects in the line up and get some real NHL experience??

All depends i guess if they move Barrie and who they get to replace him...

evans is 26 and very much factors into their plans going forward. Theres plenty of other candidates to move out.

Need clarity on Price before anything.
If he doesn't play, we ride out the season and look for trades to move out vets, likely at the deadline.
If he does play, we probably make a cap move.

Either way we aren't bringing in Barrie's cap hit unless it's part of moving our own cap out (ie Hoffman).

Hoping to play Firewagon hockey an increase the offensive values of a few of the boys to bring back the best possible return. We're definitely in a rebuild but we need as much value as possible to trade away and stockpile quality prospects and 2023 draft picks to fast track the rebuild into a couple year "retool" instead.
