Honestly, I feel like the third party retention would be for TOR to figure out if they want him and need to make the money work for them. Not CHI's job. Also, I feel like that package is pretty underwhelming. Then again, most of what CHI's GM has done thus far has been pretty underwhelming, outside of drafting exciting players. Which brings me to my next point. I think they would be a lot more interested in picks and cap dumps than Kerfoot, Sandin, and Gogolev. Those three players honestly have no value to CHI, and flipping them any time soon would probably end up being a bigger chore than it is worth because of the flat cap through the next few years.
