You think blueger gets the same return as bjorkstrand?

Why is Anaheim paying to take on your 9th defenseman? What value do you believe he brings to the Ducks?

ducks only have 6 nhl defensemen. hes better than mahura, benoit, vaak easily. he can provide vet leadership for the young kids & plays his job well. contract is 2yrs at 800k. he is the sam carrick of the blueline

Those three guys are still developing, and we have Zelwegger in the wings, a season from now he could be our 7th or 8th defenseman. The veteran presence aspect is valuable, but I think we are saving that spot for a combo cap dump and veteran minute eater. I think he is a better match with a competitor on that contract.

For Blueger I disagree, dude is the best 4C in the league at a reasonable price and is only 27. As a pens fans theres only a few ppl I would be opposed to trading and he would be on that list.
