I'd be up for adding him for something like 3-5 years...7 doesn't seem anywhere close to what Verbeek has been doing so far. Honestly, don't know if he's the *right* fit given that it'd be 3 x offensive dmen on the right side.

I agree with @Lenny7. Klingberg isn't worth the money nor the term. The Ducks need some offense from the blue line but next season isn't a season to contend for a playoff spot. And with guys like Zellweger and Mintyukov in the pipeline, who both have great offensive talent, I don't see how Klingberg makes sense (except if it's short-term but I don't think he'll agree to anything less than 6 years).

Term is why I’ve been on the no thanks to Klingberg since before FA, but 1 year at 7 mil is all good with me! Decent way to buy a 1st rounder at the TDL if you ask me

Yup, I think it's a good deal. I just never expected him to sign a 1y deal which is why I didn't want the Ducks to sign him. But this is great, if he puts up good numbers, he can be flipped at the TDL for quite a bit.
