whats with this about defensive game, sure hes not ROR but hes not bad same with VT, neither make mistakes, both get down to block shots and both stay in position. This they arent good at defense narrative needs to stop. Dont get me wrong tho they are by no means pkers

Hes significantly better than 4 other Blues forwards defensively. 91, 49, 10, 20 (should bounce back) were all black holes last year.

I personally would let Barbashev walk. I’d give ROR a max of $6.5M AAV. I’m shooting for $5.5-6.5M. If I’m looking at the realistic Armstrong approach, he’ll keep Scandella and have Perunovich as the 7th man.
