Based off of last season alone, Bratt and Connor aren’t far off value wise. Don’t think the difference between the two are a first and Severson

While severson and bratt are certainly not weegar or huberdeau I will say at least in this scenario bratt is under team control

Not sure what why everybody is up in arms about Sevo=Weegar. Sure Weegar is better but he’s literally only had 2 seasons of actual success on stacked Florida teams. Severson had such an under the radar year last year and has been a consistent top 4D for almost his entire career. Not to mention the Devils organization’s trust in him considering he has averaged the most minutes on the team in each of the last 3 seasons. So again is Severson=Weegar? No. But I don’t see how he is so far off

Now justify Huberdeau=Bratt

Only talked about Severson and Weegar because they are closer than people were making it out to be. Obviously Hubrdeau is better than Bratt and it’s not close so there’s no need to even reply about them buddy.

Bratt has control also almost 5 years younger than huberdeau. Severson is a RHD that is the same age as Weegar and put up a few more points this year on a far worse squad. Connor is a phenomenal player but I’d say he’s just a small tier below Tkachuk on what he brings to a team. Also Tkachuk at 8 years of control is a whole lot nicer then walking Connor into free agency

Bratt put up better numbers than huberdeau did in his age 24 season aswell

Connor is a great player, BUT he is no M. Tkachuk. Don't compare Connor and the 'Unicorn'.
