That Doughty trade made no sense for Toronto and I doubt LAK would want Tavares given how deep they r up the middle. That trade gets an F for both sides lol.

That Flames trade is shockingly bad. There are some bad one here but this could really take the cake.

I'm confused. Why would the Leafs trade 11 players and their 7 highest draft picks in the next 3 years, including 2 of the Big 4, 2 prospects, and several other players from their roster all for only 5 guys? This would be like a self-destruct button, your roster would be mediocre, and your pool of high end draft picks and prospects would be decimated now, and for at least 3 more years.

I think a C- for LA since being deep down the middle isn't a bad thing, Tavares' hit comes off the books earlier than Doughty, their defense would be weaker in the short term but they still get a young promising D-man and some sweetners+fluff, and an F+ for Toronto.

All the trades are F+ for the Leafs, and they don't really make sense for the other team either (putting holes in their team and generally strengthening another area of strength and getting a ton of assets while doing so) but far worse for the Leafs.
