Assuming Barkov and Huberdeau demanded trades or whatever bull**** required to justify the Panthers seeing them as needing to go.

FLA managment realizes the financial value that having both brothers would mean to the franchise in merchandising and marketing alone.

Yes. Barkov is the best player in the deal... but this would still be horrible for Ottawa.
Giving up ALL OF THAT, for 3 years of Ekblad and 5 seasons of Barkov at $10M after he turns 30.
No thank you.
