This team is just really solid all around. Which is good until you make the 2nd round or so of the playoffs

I'd say Anaheim takes this trade.

i would move Iafallo to 2LW and Rakell to 2RW with Geno at 2C

then have [OPEN] - Carter - Kapanen

Larsson - Blueger - McGinn (Energy Line)

Try and trade Dumo and have POJ play with Tanger and try to get a solid 3rd line scorer to play LW that’s cheaper than Dumo

We do have Poehling. He’s got some work to do but I think his potential can be unlocked with Pittsburgh. He’s been known for his two way abilities and he’s shown some flashes of it. It could end up playing a big role for us later. But for now I’d imagine he gets put on the 4th line. The 3rd line could have a mix of offence and defence on it which is why I paired them together. Iafallo and Blueger have the offensive abilities to help take some weight off of Jeff Carter. And they have the defensive abilities to help the 3rd line harder to play against. The 4th line of Poehling-Larsson-McGinn could still be a high energy line.

Yeah that makes sense but Larsson and Blueger together would make one of the best shutdown 4th lines in the league

Maybe try Poehling on the 3rd? or even 2nd? and see who he plays best with cud if Poehling can breakout while playing with somebody better than him. The lines will def be a scramble at the beginning of the year that’s for sure

My idea here is that Teddy Blueger is a two way forward here. And he can produce like a 3rd line player as well. But he isn’t really givin the ice time to produce more offence. It would not help his production at all if he’s to be staying sheltered on the 4th line. Especially with Larsson and McGinn. They aren’t a bad pairing at all, the only thing is it would be identical to a McGinn-Blueger-ZAR pairing which I’m not sure if that’s what Sully wants out of them. So a line of Iafallo-Blueger-Carter would generate a ton of offence for a third line I think and can make us all the more better and not only do you get that offence from the 3rd line, but also the defence and energy. It’s all really about spreading the talent everywhere.
