Rodriques put up 19 goals, 24 assists and 43 points playing 16 minutes a game in Pittsburg.........Can you image how many points he will get playing for the Leafs on a line with Tavares and Nylander and getting some PP time.......The sky is the limit.

Dubas is a master at finding under-rated players like Evan Rodriques and setting them up for success.

Surprised that San Jose did not resign Dahlen.

Are Blues going to trade for Thachuk?

Bunting is quite literally the only player I can think of that the Leafs actually made good…

🤞 Will be tough on Army. Hearing Kyrou is a must per almost everyone but can the Blues really lose Perron, VT91 and Kyrou in one off-season? Thats 88 goals and 214 pts, I want MT19 real bad but that's a tough pill to swallow.

I think the Leafs have actually made a number of players good such as Jack Campbell, Justin Holl, Zac Hymen, Makheyev, Dermott, Connor Brown, Fredie Anderson and alot of their own drafted players still on the team such as Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Rielly, Sandin, Lilijgren etc..

What I mean is making some random nobody from UFA good. Rodrigues is certainly already pretty good, but I wouldn’t say Dubas is a master at turning nobodies into good players

It is not worth ruining your team to acquire Matthew Thachuck .......but he is one great hockey player.

Sometimes I think everything is timing in the NHL interms of a players career as all the players are talented..........Bunting worked his butt off and then was elevated to play with Matthews and Marner on the first line was great for him........If Keefe doesn't try him with Matthews and Marner......then Bunting is just another hockey player fighting for a job on the 4th line.

I actually think Sheldon Keefe is a big reason for the success of Michael Bunting.......although the Leafs scouts and Dubas also saw something they liked in him when he played in Arizona.......However, both Dubas and Keefe had history with Bunting from when he played in the Soo.

I actually think it would be a great move to help them win a cup as the Leafs young core players are all getting close to their prime years........it is a great time to be a Leafs fan.

Totally agree, I have faith that Army will figure it out. MT19 is the exact player Berube and our fan base salivate over....being a home town kid makes it the perfect fit! We all saw how much Maroon meant to the STL, times that by 100!!

On a side note what do you think the Leafs are going to do with Sandin? That's a player I would love for the Blues to acquire!!

I really liked him during his tryout with Arizona at the end of the 2021 season. He was Brad-Marchand-annoying-and-effective, especially against my two crummy local teams. I even had him on several of my ACGMs that summer, and at $1.75 million, too.

Dude nobody ****ing likes you and your all caps and bull**** claims. Just stop please. Use lowercase letters and be semi realistic and make regular leaf’s fans comments. Nobody wants to hear you compare Pierre Engvall to hall of famers.

Moving Engvall to second line leftwing makes alot of sense as he has the potential to become a big goal scorer as evidenced by putting up 15 goals playing on a shutdown 3rd line last year.

He is a tremendous skater for a big man, can shoot and plays leftwing and was very offensive player in Sweden and could become a major force being fed passes from Tavares and Nylander........Sheldon Keefe is not afraid to try out things that alot of hockey fans on this site would not consider.............so it could actually happen.

I am very biased on the Sandman.......I think Sandin has the potential to become a top pairing defenceman and PP quarterback on the Leafs for years.......He thinks the game incredibly and can move the puck out of his zone very clean and also likes to throw his body around.

The Leafs need to open up a left defence spot for him by shifting Rielly, Muzzen or Gio to the right side or trading out Muzzen and committ to Sandin and then sign him for a 2 year deal and let him develope with Liljegren into elite defenceman.

The Leafs are crazy to trade Sandin and need to follow the Lightening playbook of playing your good young players.

He strikes me like the type of hockey player that works extremely hard in the offseason to keep improving.......he looks like he has an incredible motor and skates hard all night like Marner.

He really anticipates the play well and is great at drawing penalities.........just like Brad Marchand.

The fact that our management team doesn’t really want to trade him. They like him as he is our best player right now. Can’t argue about wanting to keep a 99 point player but I personally don’t want to be paying Miller until he is 36+

This is why I’m convinced we are not getting to undersell on Miller. It’s either a team gives us an offer we can’t refuse, or we keep him

I think Miller's monster season is what is making this decision so difficult..........I can actually see Miller dropping back to the 80 point range and then given his age.......you don't want to sign him for much more than $7,000,000 per year for 6 years.

The Canucks are the best fit for Miller and I think he would be crazy to leave Vancouver where he is a big star.
