I'll say this for the Canucks: Pat Allvin's done a really good job so far. Lekkerimaki was an excellent pick (seriously, I love the kid-can't believe he fell down to 15), the Mikheyev, Kuzmenko and Lazar signings add some much-needed depth behind the terrific top 6, and he somehow managed to get a 3rd for Travis Hamonic. He's done well with every move he's made so far.

Seems DiPietro wants out of Vancouver as it's been confirmed by his agent he's requested a trade and they are working out a deal to move him

So far, I am happy about what has been done. It’s been refreshing having a management that has a plan and is actually willing to follow through with it. Ruthford and Allvin seem like very serious business men who don’t play around which is a huge upgrade over Jim “we ran out of time” Benning. If they can pull off a good Miller trade, it will make me more than happy

thats a great question and im not sure. the capitals future with rd is limited and two spots in the regular lineup might open up soon with jensen and tvr are expiring next year, but maybe ukko pekka something around him maybe, or expand around forward. im not entirely sure, im very high on him

Actually a pretty solid list. I might have some issues with the order, but most of the numbers look ok. Rust, Moore, Watson, and probably Asplund are too low. Gallagher, Donskoi, and Armia are way too high.

Phil Kessel too high also.

Asplund is definitly one of the most underrated players in the NHL. He is a LW and he was completely forgotten about so got added to the RW list. This is also the same guy who was 15th in Selke voting. Also Okposo is a 2.8 because of his contract and people thinking he is a cap dump.

Kessel had like 45 assists, that’s great for a 3rd liner. I think Bratt’s number is fair, but I wouldn’t rank him 11th. I wouldn’t take him over Pavelski or Batherson right now for example.

Right now he has a lot of raw skill. He can end up as the perfect first line power forward. He has an incredibly hard shot. He just needs to work on accuracy. With decent line mates and good ice time, I can see him becoming a very good top 6 player. Probably not gonna get 100 points or anything like that but I can see him becoming a very very hard player to play against. Not many power forwards left in the NHL which is why I like Podkokzin and I can’t imagine him leaving

I think jfresh goes by ice time and Asplund was 13th among Sabres forwards (and like, they were the Sabres lol) in ATOI last year (a couple of those guys only played a handful of games, but still), and probably pretty low overall for a LW, so that’s why he was “forgotten about.” I think he’s a solid defensive 3rd liner, but he doesn’t provide enough offense to be rated any higher than that. Still shoulda been closer to 3 though imo. And Okposo’s ranking is fine, around a 3rd liner is right for him, probably 4th on a really good team.
