Yeah, I fear there is going to be a mass Calgary-wide heartbreak when the trade goes through.

Just tell a Leafs fan they would have to give up Marner for Thachuck and see what happens lol.
If the Flames get a young PPG player and more that's a win. I'm not convinced that Tkachuk, Miller or Kadri are 100-pt players. Out of the 3, I think Miller matches and then drops off after even if it's just to a PPG player. Tkachuk I expect to be somewhere between PPG and the 90pts club (closer to 90+). Kadri the same (closer to PPG).
The 100-pt players are the guys driving the plays or scoring or doing both and have reached that mark or on pace for it in several seasons. (100pts in this era isn't like the 60G club, where if you hit it once then you are a member-although soon enough I'm sure 60G will be the new 50).
That being said McDavid is a 100pt player, Kucherov (wouldn't be surprised if his production starts regressing in the regular season in favour of the playoffs), and MacKinnon if he can play a full season. Draisaitl has proven he is good for 40G and 60A or 50G and 50G and he's also proven he can drive his own line so he's no longer a byproduct of McDavid so he's another 100 pt player. These guys can be expected to hit 120+ points in a great season like the Flames line had.
Matthews has always been a 40G+ guy and over the last two seasons (by pace and actual goals) has shown that he can score 60G, so he's probably good for 35-40 assists, so he's likely a 100pt player but he could pull an Ovechkin and be getting far less assists as he gets older.
Marner has consistently shown (by pace/actual) he can get around 70 assists over the last 4 season. If he can consistently score 30+ then he will be a 100pt player. Same with Gaudreau and Panarin. I would say these guys are on the cusp of being 100pt players but they are certainly 90+ point guys and are good for 95+ points.
