    The Isles are not trading Dobson, I know there was another ACGM made by an Isles fan but it is not happening. And I doubt Tkachuk would sign long term with the Isles.

    Dobson is good but is he really only a first round pick less valuable than him. I don’t think so. You don’t see 100 point power forwards with such elite defensive games like Tkachuk in the league

    6'4 #1 RHD with elite skating ability are extremely rare. Dobson on his own is worth at least two 1sts and a top prospect, so yes he is only a first round pick less valuable. I don;'t even know If the islanders should do this.

    As an Isles fan I wouldn't do this deal. I can also 100% see why fans of other teams would say this is a small price to pay for Tkachuk and he will fetch a better haul. It doesn't matter, the Isles won't be in on him whatsoever.

    How are the rangers relevant here? Look at the number for his defense. He's a good second pairing defensemen sure, but not a #1D yet. He has the potential sure but you are being delusional here

    What’s wrong with his defense? A defenseman who puts up 51 pts with a good two way impact is a top pair caliber defenseman
