Description
If John Tavares Waives his clause, then this will work. Swapping Nylander and Connor would work for everyone because the Jets now have an 80-point player, two prospects as well as a 2nd. Grubauer hasn't been performing that well in Seattle. With John Tavares, they get a captain, a proven leader and a solid 70-point player. With Kerfoot, he's improving, with 51 points this year, compared to Vinnie Hinostroza's 25. I believe the Sabers would take him with a 7th. All lineup positions are up for debate. i hope you like it.

I believe that Grubauer will get good again with a change of scenery. Matt Murray is a huge gamble, so it's best that we get a goaltender that's a smaller gamble to hopefully balance everything out.

Tavares has a high cap but losing him makes the second line terrible. Dubas will probably convince him to take 750k when his deals up so it will all be worth it. The other 10.25 mill will end up in Matthews bank account, plus the 12 mill hes already making.

You know the depth is rough in Toronto when a fan makes a trade for a guy slated to be our 11th-14th forward (depending on how JJP,Quinn look) and puts him in their top 6.

But that's where Connor comes in on the second line. Hopefully with Gourde it will be good.

Don’t think the leafs have the prospects to make this deal. Robertson doesn’t move the needle much.

Jets still decline. Center is a more valuable position than winger, and with all the PLD drama, they don’t want to get caught with their pants down without a top center.
