That Philly trade, like the other ones, is way too much. If you took out Foerster and the '24 first rounder, and inserted a prospect, that should be enough. Especially with JVR 50% retained.

Whether it's an overpay or not, I can't see Anaheim including the 2023 first in any trade -- that pick is looking better and better (i.e., earlier and earlier). And then the "Gibson is garbage" nonsense will start up again.

Didnt they just sign Thomas to an 8 x 8? I would also not be giving up Kyrou ++ if I were the Blues.

Imo I think the blues want all 3 on the same line
Obviously Thomas won’t go as he is BFFs with Matty T Kyrou maybe but I don’t see it as he is young and a very good sniper for that line
