It's all about the name. That's a $10 handle he has right there. As far as a prospect he's still a long shot, and needs to add a lot of mass to his frame. He was 6'2" and like 160 pounds when he was drafted.

Mostly his name. He has decent production (I believe he was just above a ppg in Swedish juniors last year in his D+1 season, didn’t/couldn’t do much in the SHL though), but the Sabres prospect pool is so deep he’s probably in the 15-20 range. His name does make him most likely to be a secret vampire, and I’m rooting for the kid.

He could score 50 goals against the year just against the devils, and I think I would be happy with him being in the leagues for that name lol
