Easily the Avs best prospect. I'd struggle to choose between him or Newhook on who to trade.

Canucks already have two of him in Hughes and Rathbone.

Behrens is only the best Avs prospect because they've all been sold or graduated. No Avs trade works because it would have to include Byram + for the Canucks to accept, and obviously Byram is untouchable for Colorado.

The Colorado 1st really isnt a 1st but more like an early 2nd. Its not enough with Behrens along the retention included

That's true, I haven't watched him play, but as said by another user, Canucks have a big logjam on left defense. Canucks would want Newhook as he is more established.

newhook shouldnt be included for a rental. that's overkill. they'd need someone with term to consider that.
