Just look at what Chicago got for Hagel due to his low salary, Thompson has double the number of goals, play center and his 8 inchs taller and his less expensive. If you really want him, you'll have to pay a prenium price to convince the Sabres to even consider the possibility of trading him. You are far from a position of strengh in this negociation

I don't think its nuts at all. Honestly with Laf on the table I'm still not sure Sabres would trade Tage. 38 goals and just starting to come into his own after his first year moving to the Center position. Laf has a ton of potential but is still a winger. C>W. I know you can't remove the fact that he was just 1OA but It just doesn't make sense for the sabres IMO.
