I don’t think the oilers get offers better than this and a team could just sign him for 4.1 for a year and screw the oilers royally cuz if they match they have to pay min 4.1 for the next contract and I believe puljujarvi will have arbitration rights. If they don’t match they lose him for 1 second. I’d be worried of that if I’m the oilers.

Honestly 0 chance pool party gets that much. Considering what brown got I'm guessing it's like a 3rd or 4th. Which is probably why he hasn't been dealt yet. With marchment gone, this would likely be their next target.

I think they don’t want him to be the next nichushkin so they will hinder him from future opportunities if it means they don’t have that sort of regret. They r definitely willing to do that. They know they totally screwed up his development and yet will continue to hinder his chances even if it means he is never anything in the NHL. Really hate the oilers for that type of thing. He wants to leave cuz he wants to be put in all situations and his advanced stats show he is deserving of it yet they won’t give him chances. Honestly hate the oilers for that type of management
