Wait for desperate teams at the TDL and make bank selling off cheap 1 year rental players, then for the last 20ish games of the season rotate in different kids from Rockford to play 8-9 games each then be sent back down to compete for the calder cup, give them playoff experience, win Bedard/Fantilli/Michkov, profit. Hopefully we keep strengthening our AHL team for the kiddos.

Steel is interesting was a first round pick was semi-productive could be worth a look as 3C. I'm sure other teams are looking at him but after this year he would be given an even bigger opportunity with Toews (most likely) gone.
Kuokkanen is good defensive forward. Im not high on Katchouk and could be a replacement.
Bring back my boy Calvin who is a shot blocking machine. Kinda crazy we couldn't find a buyer last season but it was probably because of salary.
Lankinen had a disastrous year but so did the hawks in general. Considering you could write a novel about Mrazeks injuries I'm betting on him going down and it would be nice to have some insurance. Also I just like Lankinen.
