The team Sells at the deadline because they're just not close enough to a playoff spot. There is an awful middling situation.

Not signing Gaudreau just puts us back 3-5 years which is probably better in the Long Run but it's pretty Terrible now. Our Only real way to get High-End talent is to hit Gold in the Draft with a later pick or get Bedard and we prob have to win the lottery for that.

The Free agents in upcoming years don't have the connections to the flyers Like Gaudreau so unless we spend MORE ASSETS to get a Young Player Like Tkachuk and lock him up in the Long term, we're going to be really Mid for a really long time.

The Flyers are betting Hard on Tortorella being able to instantly make our Young players reach their Potential without giving them the Teammates to do it.

Unfortunately. I don't think the flyers are bad enough to get Bedard but one can hope at this point.
