Hes been with Chicago the last few years. He never really had an opportunity besides the 20 games in his first year.. its too bad because he skates well and is offensively minded.

Worst case scenario, he plays in the AHL this season and there ZERO cap hit. Best case scenario, a change of scenery results in a career resurgence and the Canucks have his RFA rights next year.

probably spends most of the season in Abby, zero risk and still young enough that Chicago might regret letting him go.
