We're paying more than $5 million / year for seven years for 20 goal scorers? REALLY!?

Seems like a good deal to me. I expected around 6-7*6 years. So he kept it under 6 and went to 7 years. Seems fair

Better than Copp who has broken 40 points and 20 goals once each

Trochek has cracked 70 points and been over 50 regularly

So they pay a 1st for copp then move on from him for Trocheck who is older and making the same amount of money

And Copp really looked good with Panarin

Not quite sure why the rangers would give Trocheck 7 years... he probably wont have much left in the tank by the time he hits 34-35. The AAV for now is great though, I really wish the canes could've got him to stay for maybe 4 years at 6 mil. I suppose we can try Drury on the 2nd line next season since we have no current 2nd line caliber centers. Tro's impact will definitely be missed.
