Not necessarily a huge downgrade (only real thing is term jones has 1 and he has 2) and were adding a big RHD prospect in there in skinner you add to your prospect pool

Harley is better than Jones (Harley was a 1st rounder in the same draft as Jones was a 3rd rounder) and with all the RHD prospects Dallas drafted in this draft, there’s no need for Skinner. I’d rather Glendening over those other two considering he’ll have a bigger impact at the NHL level.

It’s fine if it doesn’t happen but to say this person was a 1st round and this person was a 3rd rounder isn’t a good answer. Talent and ability are the key.

Hank was a 7th rounder, samsonov was a 1st rounder… are you keeping samsonov because he was a 1st or would you have gone with hank?

That’s a compliment different situation. These two prospects were drafted 3 years ago. If you want a better argument, Harley played more NHL games than Jones while playing for a coach who hates young players. Harley’s shown more promise than Jones.

Only Harley to NY trade I’d consider is for his buddy Schneider
