Well in fairness by the draft the Oilers gave a 2nd and a 3rd for 3.2 million for 2 years.
So he is kind of giving 2*2nd round picks and Foggle who is a serviceable NHL player and can help until all the new guys are ready. They still need NHL players and cap minimum. I dont think its that far off.

I’m going to laugh so hard when the arbitrator overturns the contract termination and Shark fans go into full panic mode knowing Kane is a Shark again, both the league and the authorities investigate this matter and found Kane did nothing wrong, can’t terminate a contract for something a player didn’t do.

where exactly did the league say Kane did nothing wrong? Latest was that SJ was in contact with the league the whole time and didn't terminate without the league agreeing that they had a solid case. This is the NHLPA trying to get his contract reinstated, not the NHL.

True the league was in the know when they terminated his contract but that was before the league and the authorities investigated the matter, the league said he did nothing wrong after both parties had finished their investigation, neither the league nor the authorities took any actions, no suspension no charges, no fines and no boarder restrictions, the league cleared him of any wrong doings and allowed him to sign with another team.

Yeah but SJ doesn't need Foegele since they have players like him and SJ doesn't need help reaching cap minimum because they're already in contract hell.

I think this trade retaining for Kane is more fair/likely if Foegele is removed.
If the offer is worse than simply buying out or burying Kane, why would SJ do that if there is not compensation for it?
SJ may or may not get better offers but at least we can say with Foegele dropped this scenario becomes somewhat logical.

After other teams saw Kane’s performance in the playoffs there are several teams in the hunt for Evander . SJ will have no issue finding a suitor. If Kane refuses to go anywhere but Edmonton the sharks will simply bury him in the minors and tell him to stay home until they find a solution. The sharks do not live to serve the oilers freebies and they won’t. Cap hit doesn’t matter to us we’re not a playoff team. Oilers are a playoff team and know they will go nowhere without Kane in the playoffs. They cannot beat Colorado. You have no goaltending and MacKinnon is 2x the player McDoodle ever will be. You need Kane more than we need the cap, kiddo. The cards are in the Sharks hands not Oilers. Deal with it.

And gasoline is for cars, not drinking!

If you think McKinnon is twice the player McDavid is you truly know nothing about hockey, (I know right massive blow to your big egotistic head) and shouldn’t be commenting on anything hockey related.

Secondly my comment had nothing Oiler related in it, this is about the Sharks and Kane, your comment and rant about the Oilers is just another example proving you are clueless about the game and especially anything Oiler related.

That is why there is an arbitrator involved.
Its away from the team and the league.
