I don't understand why people are wanting to give e away Kerfoot for so little. To be clear, I don't like his style of play and I think that he has been a bad fit in Toronto. He has never had any real consistency in the lineup. Different player and different style but Kerfoot put up point totals close to Garland for Vancouver. I still think they should trade him but for a young roster player or someone with term. If it's picks, I'd want a second plus. I think kerfoot gets you a first at the deadline

I'd package him in a deal for a gritty winger, what the leafs lack. The have their great skilled forwards they need some gritty ones.

That's what I've been wanting all along. They need someone who can knock people of pucks to play in their top 6

I for one don't understand why over a thousand days - three full years, from well before the pandemic started to the present day - of Jackets fans saying "no, we do not want him" has somehow not been enough to indicate that the offers are unwelcome and should stop. But they keep happening all the same.

Part of the fun of this site is getting to be the GM. When in reality we don't know what the actual GM's are think. Everyone know their teams needs the best whi h is why most trades are lopsided and highly favour our team.

I actually don't think Kerfoot to Columbus makes any sense either. My point was just that Toronto shouldn't trade him for picks, they should use him to address a need

If they trade Nylander for draft picks and top prospect with no cap coming back. Then sign Evander Kane and play him with Matthews and Marner, this would be the best line in the league.

That's a valid excuse for the first month or two. We're looking at three years here. At some point, it should not be unreasonable to expect that folks will look at AGMs of other teams and thereby have the opportunity to see how folks react, thus enabling them to make better AGMs. That three years is not enough for this to take place is... well, it doesn't say much good about humanity as a whole.
