For those wondering where this actual "source" is coming from. It's from a French interview OTT GM Dorion had with a TVA (French news station) journalist. He was asked if he would trade the 7th to a division rival in MTL. Dorion responded that if there was a trade that benefited both teams, he would seriously consider it, and that MTL being a division rival wouldn't impact the cost of the pick.
