Obviously, I like the idea of the CAR/Debrincat trade. They have a very deep farm system and are in win now mode. It's just a much better fit than these NJD/PHI theories. Both of those teams had worse records than the Hawks last year. It doesn't make sense for them to give up futures even if Debrincat is only 24. I would like to get a better forward prospect than Suzuki. He's got a lot to prove and in juniors had a very serious eye injury and he's left with a tiny permanent blind spot. It's tiny, but heck, that should be enough for any acquiring team to want to see more production out of him prior to actually trading for him.

Run that trade with the preds. I’m sure you could get more but as a pred fan and a husband of a Blackhawk fan I would give more to have Kane on our team

Nope lol not that much. I could see tomasino being our next star for Nashville. I liked everything I seen from him last year and I would not want to move him at all. Especially not for a rental.
