Seconded here. I think McDonagh's value was that he was a piece that got TB over the hump and was a big leadership piece on a recent Stanley Cup winner. His on ice is important but his leadership and off ice is better. If he can impart that wisdom to our youth, and especially Z and Gavvy, he's worth the price as a mentor.
