Yeah, this isn’t a horrible idea that’s never going to happen. Bjorkstrand shouldn’t be traded and Jarmo already said he wasn’t going to trade up unless it was a sweetheart deal.

Also I’d rather get Juricik at 6 and Kespar at 12 and keep the players we have to continue to build vs try to rush it like Chicago did last offseason, and look what happened to them.

You're getting the best player in the trade and the higher draft pick. Columbus would be stupid not to accept. Devils would never do this

For the seven thousandth time, the Chicago pick is the 6OA. Remember Chicago? Blackhawks were dreadful this past season. Columbus was basically Bettman .500 and owns the 12OA.

So that's Bjorkstrand, Chinakhov, and the 6OA for Bratt and 2OA. Much closer to fair than 12OA, still a bad trade for Jersey.

Bratt is underrated to a degree that makes Bjorkstrand seem overrated, but I still would rather keep Bjorkstrand.

And that Chychrun deal is way too expensive for us; if that's what he costs, look elsewhere.
