Description
Here we go with the Coyotes Off-Season. With this being my favorite team we have gone through years of disappointment, so I made this as what I would want as a fan while trying to be realistic. Hopefully we only have a couple more years of the tank. Anyways, we will start of the signings.

Signings:
-Lawson Crouse is one of the biggest bodies out there and put up some good numbers for what his role was on the team. Coyotes need to keep him around, but I wouldn't go over 4,000,000 for him.
-Next we have the Coyotes 5th overall pick a couple years ago, Barrett Hayton. After Keller got hurt last season Hayton took over on both sides of the game. Watching the games he looked like a leader out there, another player the Yotes should keep around. Keep him long term at a lower AAV.
-Kyle Capobianco is a phenomenal skater and has such poise with the puck. With other defenseman out of the lineup, give him a bigger role and he could shine. So much potential, just needs more confidence, definitely keep him around.
-Cam Dineen was in and out of the lineup all year, he is a great 7th D-man for the team now. He probably won't play that much, but it is good to have support on the line.
-Lastly for RFA's, keep Korenar. Really just need him as 3rd string since we have lost a lot of great goalies.
-Starting with UFA's, we have Alex Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk loves the valley and he honestly wasn't that bad last year. Yotes can keep him around as a primary depth piece.
-Like Galchenyuk, Stralman loves it here, so let him stay. Especially with Phil leaving, the Coyotes need a veteran piece on this team.
-With the Yotes Reserve List, the only person I have them signing is Josh Doan. Kid lit it up last year as a rookie with ASU. Let him at least another year there, but they have to lock him up.
----Signings are a big part of every off-season, so here I have the guys that need to be priority's for the team. Every one of them deserves a spot with a tanking team. Next we have Trades.

Trades:
-While this might not be on every Coyotes' fans with list, they have to trade Chychrun. Personally I love Chychrun, I have signed pucks and everything, but it is time to move on. He played mediocre at best last season and with teams willing to pay a high price for him, the Coyotes have to pull the trigger. Jakob has said again and again he doesn't want a rebuild, so if players don't want to be a part of team, don't let them. The Kings are heading into a playoff push and Chychrun could be a part of that with them not really needing any young guys. Turcotte is a phenomenal player with ability to shine like Keller while Bjornfot is a young defenseman trying to land his feet. Could be a match made in heaven for those two. To even out I have the Yotes getting the Kings 1st in 2023 and 3rd in 2022. I think that there is just great benefit for both sides.
-Christian Fischer is a solid 4th line winger, however he hasn't really shown up for the Coyotes these past couple years. Yes, he has great plays here and there, but no consistency or real improvement. On the other hand, Aube-Kubel just proved to everyone what he was made of and I think this is an improvement over Fischer. As of now, who knows what Colorado is going to be able to afford so I have them swapping a rough 2,000,000 player for 1,000,000 player and a slight decrease. I also added a 7th rounder to try and even it a bit.
-Next we have the Calgary Flames and their cap hell. Sean Monahan needs a fresh start and can prove himself as a solid player again. However, he has a load a money coming to him each year which keeps a lot of teams out of taking the chance. I added a 2nd rounder in 2022 for helping Calgary and taking on that contract.
-I know there is going to be a lot of hate on this one, but I believe the price is right for Toronto. They get to free up cap in Mrazek and the yotes get a solid backup. But I also added Knies to this trade which could bring a lot of speculation. Knies is a hometown AZ kid that grew up playing with Josh Doan, so I think there is a possibility of a reunion between the two. The Leafs are win now, so they don't really need him and they get a high second round pick along with a solid third-line player in Carcone.
-Lastly, we have the Coyotes moving up to 12th in the draft from 27th. Now I could see the Yotes trade both their 27th and 32nd for this pick, but I think this works out better for both teams. Columbus finally gets a backup along with a 6th round and the 27th overall pick. I don't know if Columbus will agree to this, but in my mind this is a perfect trade.
----Now that we are done with trades let's move on to the draft.

Draft:
-3rd Overall: Logan Cooley; This should be a no-brainer for the Yotes with Slafkovsky and Wright going 1 and 2. Cooley is the next best by far and centers are really what the Yotes need. Probably don't even need to explain this.
12th Overall: Brad Lambert; I remember watching this kid play for Finland in the World Junior Championships as a 16 year old and being the easy best player on the ice. I can't believe most mock drafts having him falling this far, but it would be a perfect pick for Yotes.
32nd Overall: Jagger Firkus; Kid lit the WHL up and has tremendous upside, Would be surprised if he fell this far, but if he does yotes have to take him.
-I don't know a lot about any of the second round picks, but should all be good forwards for the Yotes if all are still there.

So here is my ideal off-season for the Coyotes, remember this is just what I think and I am no where near a GM. Coyotes just have to hold everything and tan one more year for Bedard, then the team would be crazy. And remember for the draft picks I don't necessarily want the yotes to sign them it is just so you know who I say we draft. Here is my ideal off-season.

Columbus wouldn’t need more then a B level goalie prospect and a 5th to move from 12 to 27.

Change Bjornfot to a RHD prospect and the Kings would do it. They can't afford to trade one of their only quality LHDs.

solid 3rd liner hes played 21 ****ing games in the nhl hes not even a 4th liner let alone a solid 3rd liner
lets not even get into the fact that he was a 3rd liner on the ****ing yotes
whos top line wouldnt be most teams 3rd line

this random nobody with 21 games played and a stupid ass pick in the draft in the same post where you said they are in win now mode
you ship an almost certainly worthless pick for years and a nobody 5th liner
    its insultingly bad
its unbelievably bad i thought that a bruins fan or a habs fan might have put this together
