The value on the Dadonov trade is good but can't see the Rangers trading for him with all the wingers they already have. Maybe for a pick at the deadline if they can move some money around but doubt it.

Perhaps. But they can make separate moves to address alternate issues as well. If they were only aloud to make one move all off season, this wouldn't be the one. But outside of Mika & Bread, Dadonov would add a much needed offensive first weapon.

The Rangers have Panarin, Kreider, Lafrenière, Kakko, Kravtsov, Othmann. They aren't trading for a winger with that cap hit sorry

Please. What cap hit? $2.5m with 50% retained. Like I said Panarin & Mika as the only offensive first players. Kreider is a PF, never know. Laf & Kakko are not guaronteed production. Krav & Othmann are not roster locks. Wakey wakey.
