stop saying we should have traded for McDonagh. we arent getting rid of muzzin, even if we were we would be getting an almost 7 million dollar D man.

Tampa still would have taken the Nashville offer to keep McDonagh out of the division. Plus, still not sold Tampa won’t buy-out Myers for the around 700K cap credit due to his contract structure

STOP! The Islanders do not want Muzzin at 5 Mill and Muzzin isn't going to waive. Islanders would be interested in Sandin. A la 2nd and 3rd or 2nd and Bode Wilde?

Islanders wouldn’t want Muzzin his caps just too high to be injury prone, not to mention islanders are trying to shed cap so if you did a swap Bailey for him they might consider but I still think they shouldn’t take that I think the islanders will go for Dunn, Soucy, Reilly, Butcher, Sandin, Hague etc someone with a lot lower cap

I wouldn’t

Not sure what happened to Butcher but he is aging in dog years.

He played with Buffalo he was very solid his first 3 years only fell off in 20-21 and 21-22 but he only played 60 games those seasons and more than half with Buffalo so I don’t blame him he had good base stats and analytics his first three years average defensively and good offensively I would 100% take the risk on him for league minimum and try him on the third pairing with Mayfield

Leafs where not going to tie up $7 million in a heavy workload dman at 33 year olds, especially with him still having 2 yrs left when AM is UFA.

Nah keep Bode Wilde. His development seems to have stalled and I would rather have players that will do anything that is required of a professional for their NHL teams/careers.
